I must say that I am blogging again not because I necessarily want to; but because I selfishly want the people I love to see pictures of our dear boy, E.G. I'm also sick of Facebook, mainly due to my own "nineness" (see Enneagram) that hates, absolutely h-a-t-e-s conflict and ongoing theological debate. In my own Facebook world, people would only post cute pictures of their children, encourage and exhort one another and be supportive. But alas, with an election season upcoming, I fear that instead of being delighted in seeing everyone's kids, my blood pressure will increase.
Now, my brother, Greg (aka Crrraig) LOVES a good debate. And he has the awesome gift of being so honest and thoughful and sometimes confrontational, but then stepping back and saying, "it was just a debate, nothing personal." I, however, am not wired like that. I have never been able to separate myself in such a manner and I take everything personal. So...I got off Facebook. I have to say it has been liberating, and it has also reminded me how addicted I am to it. But there is loss- and that is not seeing my friends' kids on a daily basis. So...I re-started this blog! I hope you enjoy it and I'm also hoping to document some of my thoughts here as well. It's been quite a year and more posts to come (hopefully)..
